Position Team Lead: Site Support
Job Responsibilities:
Desktop:
¡± Perform problem isolation and fault resolutions
¡± Perform user management ¡V Pro-actively provide regular
status updates to the users
¡± Ensure all trouble tickets assigned are resolved or
escalated to the proper resolver groups for follow-up within response
time
¡± Provide root cause analysis
¡± Perform MAC requests
¡± Provide after-hours stand-by support
¡± First level of troubleshooting and maintaining IT
equipments such as: - printers - print servers - workstations - servers
- LAN connectivity - hubs and switches, and - all others that are within
MIS control ƒnMonitoring servers and workstations to minimize
downtime
¡± Hardware and software asset management
¡± Dealings with vendors for requisition of hardware and
software products
Server:
o Perform installation for application software, operating
systems and patches on servers and workstations ƒnPlanning and
implementing system and software controls.
¡± Evaluation and recommendation of new software and hardware
for performance, compatibility and usability
¡± Perform daily servers' backup
¡± Performing monthly server maintenance and applying
security patches
¡± Perform problem isolation and fault resolutions
¡± Troubleshooting and monitoring servers
¡± ƒnInstall and configure Windows 2003 servers.
Requirements:
¡± At least a Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
Degree in Computer Science is advantageous
¡± Minimum 4 years experience in the IT industry, working
experience in the medical industry is advantageous
¡± MCP, MCSE and/or MCSA certification is advantageous
¡± Good team players
¡± Minimum 2 years of server experience
¡± Good knowledge of Windows 2000 Professional and XP, MS
Office Suite and Office Automation applications is advantageous
¡± Engineers must be able to work after office hours
¡± Able to support the new in-house application in a short
time frame
