I am not sure if you are new to Singapore. But please be aware that
since Jan 1, 2005, due to an US FTA agreement, it is illegal to
possess or download Mp3, movies which are not licensed by you. The
fine I believe is $20,000 and 6 months jail.
These days the RIAS are nailing a lot of people who upload/download
such files. I think yesterday 25 people were referred to the police
for Mp3 downloads. and last week 7 people were arrested (including
one house wife). I think they were caught for downloading
Malay/Indonesian or English songs. So it could mean for any
tamil/telugu/hindi or whatever language also.

Free mp3/movie download does not mean you have the right to download
and posses/play. You might be monitored.
This is just a word of caution.
