Re: [EZLINK] Advise required to go US

Hi Ramya,

If you are planning to go to Boston from India, The best route is through Europe. It is always better to travel through Europe rather than taking Pacific.

1st week of Nov. is really cold in Boston. You are landing during winter. And the winter lasts as late as 2nd week of March. So be prepared with good winter clothing while you land in Boston.

Boston has a big Indian community and grocery stores. So you can almost get everything as far as groceries go. You can bring as much as clothing you want. But remember once you land in US you might feel like getting adapted to the local dressing style.

Airways!.. Air India must be definitely cheaper than most other airlines. AA has started flying direct flights from Delhi. You can try that.

If you are anywhere from South India, Lufthansa is the best. I don't know if they are cheap, but it is definitely better than any of the US owned Air Carriers.

Regards,
Anand
