The best part of Penang are the beaches. Frenzi beach is the best one among all the others. There are good star hotels there at the beach and on the other hand you have some good cottages also. I cant recall the name of the cottage but I paid around 140 ringets per day for a beach side view cottage. You have all the entertaining equipments at the beach such as Parasailing (50 ringets), Motor boat (35 ringets) , banana boat (10 ringets per person) etc... There are lot of places around the beach where you get good South/North Indian food.

You can reach Lankawi by ferry from penang. It takes around 3 hours for one way travel. I heard from my friends that 2 days are needed to relax in Lankawi.
