Re: [EZLINK] How to India citizens apply for jobs in Singapore
Agreed Krishna.
But would you please elaborate the following skill :
- Our ability to adjust to new conditions
And the fundamental reason, why we are willing to adjust to new conditions
:)
Agreed, it is painful to see the comment that Indian are cheap (read: not so
expensive) IT labour, but try to sleep over it, and you'll realize that I am
not talking about lower salary, rather I am talking about 'business
profitability".
I am a Indian.
I am in IT.
I am in a specialized sector.
I have worked in various countries.
I know why I was preferred over locals.
I earn better than locals.
I know the basics of business.
Simply put,
If locals could make the business of my company more profitable than me, I
would not have been here.
If they had my skill-set, I would not be needed.
If they were willing to work at non-standard work hours, I would not be
needed.
The cost-to-company (CTC) is generally much higher for a local than an
Indian.
Cheers.
