Yes. Your agent is correct. Once you are pregnant already, cannot take
insurance. This policy is standard for all the countries.
You should have taken the policy well in advance and must pay a special
premium to cover the maternity benefits.
Folks - I also want to know the medical insurance for the born baby - since
my employer does not cover for my dependants. What is the procedure and what
is the good company i can go with?
