Role : IT Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Initially to work on the Migrations project within the Derivatives Trade Flow team, providing technical support for data, system and business process migration from legacy to strategic OTC Derivatives systems.
- The migration project will last about 12 months after which time sufficient system and technical knowledge will be obtained to transition to a role in either the client or server development teams within Trade Flow.
- The individual will be required to quickly learn both legacy and strategic technical platforms and business processes.
- Migration work likely to include:-
* Execution of detailed technical migration plans
* Analysis of data and systems
* Environment set up and support
* Writing technical specifications
* Coding in XML / XSL-T, XML Schemas
* SQL querying and data scripts in Sybase and Oracle
* Some C# application development
* System test planning and execution
* Post migration support
* Liaison on technical issues with others members of the team and department
* Running individual migration projects
Mandatory Skills:
- 4-10 years of experience
- Oracle 9i/10g
- Sybase
- Strong SQL
- XML
- XSL-T
- C#
- Understanding of the importance of good software development practices.
- Experience of full project life cycle.
- Proven project delivery skills.
