WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:

§ 4+ years' work experience installing, upgrading and supporting Production and Development Oracle DBMS instances.
§ Experience in Batch Design & Scheduling using Control-M
§ Ability to support critical applications in a timely manner, working calmly under pressure
§ Excellent problem solving skills, verbal and written communication skills, Structured, methodical thinker
§ Mature and professional standards.
§ Worked in a high pressure banking environments.
§ PeopleSoft Financials support and deployment.
Job Description in detail :
Ø Have a high degree of proficiency in core administrative functions in Oracle DBMS and Replication technologies.
Ø In depth knowledge of performance & tuning (dataserver & code), key configuration parameters, version features and platform specific replication technologies
Ø Provide Production and Development DBMS support to the PeopleSoft Financials IT group as required.
Ø Integrate into the Development life cycles giving best practice advice to needed.
Ø There will be a requirement to work a professional day.
Ø Additionally Production DBMS support may be required out of hours.
Ø Remote weekend Production support will be required as needed to support the project.
