Requirement: SOFTWARE Engineer (Mobile Handset )
Job: MNC, Singapore, Permanent
Role: TEAM MEMBER
Experience: 2 to 4 Years
Salary: SGD 2,500 – SGD 3,500 max
"Note: Candidates must be Singaporean / PRs"
Skills:
- 0 to 1 years experience in Mobile handset application development and testing.
- Have knowledge in embedded & real-time application on single or multi-threaded OS. Good understanding with assembly language.
- Knowledge in Mobile phone software internal Architecture, OS Porting / Device Driver Development and integration, MMI Framework / Middleware component development, Windows CE, Brew and Symbian,
- Programming experience in UNIX, LINUX & Windows environment.
- Familiar/knowledge with wireless applications such as:
Internet Browser & Markup Languages
Wireless Messaging (MMS/EMS/SMS/Email)
Multimedia (camera, display, sound, pictures, video-MPEG4,H.263, H.264)
Personal Information Management
SIM and STK applications
Java Technology, in particular Java 2 Platform, Micro Edition (J2ME)
Data communications standards/protocols (RS232, USB, SPI, IrDA, Bluetooth)
- Desired to have knowledge in cellular handset design and network data communications standard for GSM and UMTS protocols. Knowledge of embedded Linux/Symbian/WinCE OS application or server development will be advantage.
