It is a relatively senior position and candidates with about 10yrs-15yrs + overall IT experience and over 5 yrs of SAP experience (with at least 2-3 yrs as SAP Project Manager / Practice Lead ).

We are looking for a highly talented resource to support global & local customer in Asia Pacific region for SAP specific solution.
Job requirements
a.. Responsible for the management and direction of multiple SAP consulting projects or a single large and complex project
b.. Building and maintaining a SAP client base
Manage overall relationships with clients and has frequent and direct contact with the most senior level executives of the client Project management and consulting skills. Shares practice management and performance management responsibilities including the overall management of project teams and development and review of staff
c.. Balance business and resource needs
d.. To do practice presales work with BDMs and account managers to build the opportunity pipeline
e.. To conduct presentations and workshops related to the practice
f.. To plan and execute operational plans - recruitment , utilization, training
g.. To drive technology activities related to the practice
h.. To review project deliverables technology schedule and cost
i.. To assist in marketing activities like analyst calls, roadshows etc.
j.. To drive the knowledge mgmt of the practice ( best practices, guidelines, case studies, project learning)
k.. To participate in quality processes
l.. To contribute to new strategies for the practice
m.. To manage the career path for the people in the practice
Qualifications
a.. Minimum Bachelor Degree
b.. Minimum 5 years' SAP Practice skills/experience, of which minimum 2 years' Practice Lead experience
c.. Must have background in SAP, preferably - mySAP Suite of products and SAP Netweaver lifecycle projects.
d.. Deep knowledge and experience of consulting and the enterprise applications business
e.. Experienced in Project Management, IT and consulting methodologies
f.. Extensive experience presenting a vision to clients on the abilities and delivery potential of an SAP Practice in a consulting environment.
g.. Experience in full project implementation cycle including requirement gathering, Gap analysis, customization & configuration, testing methodologies and strong presentation skills with project management skills.
h.. Experience in strategic aspects of SAP applications (e.g. business case, benchmarking)
i.. A good knowledge of the business workings and functions.
j.. Ability to handle project deliveries
k.. Ability to handle customers and pre-sales activities
l.. Excellent people management skills
