My brother was young when he first visited me in Singapore. He travelled by SIA. He was picked-up when he checked-in his luggage, by one of the SIA crew. The staff took signature of my father in a form. He was guided to the airline. After sometime, they thought it would be easier to take care of him, if he is in first class cabin. So he was made to sit in the first class!!! He was offered food there and was closely monitored/supervised/pampered (though my brother didn't need it at all).
On landing, he was guided to the baggage arrival lounge. After picking up the checked-in luggage, the staff brought him to me, got my signature on receipt and left him.
- All done with big genuine smiles. No wonder people claim that SIA is the greatest airline in terms of it's service :)
Please get everything confirmed, before you buy ticket. Talk to the airline staff. You will get a better idea.
