One of my client is lookinf for Solution architecs with the
following skills.
Job Description (Nature of job responsibilities) :
The incumbent will employ consulting experience and in-depth
Internet experience, business transformation and solutions knowledge
to create people, process, environment and technology definitions of
Enterprise Content Management solutions. He/she will apply strong
technical expertise to the design of complex technical solutions and
applies broad technical expertise to the selling, planning, design
and implementation management of customers' technological solutions.
He will use his project management expertise and technical process
knowledge to the estimation, co-ordination and management of
Enterprise Content Management projects.
ECM Business Consulting
• Applies internet business and technical expertise to improve
client's position in the marketplace
• Maintains personal credibility and industry knowledge of
current directions and future trends for Internet solutions
• Increase Fujitsu's market share within target clients
• Establishes and maintains Fujitsu's industry credibility by
frequent contact with targeted clients
• Applies knowledge of client's strategic direction and
business goals to the sales process
• Communicates with clients at most senior levels
• Provides scoping and pricing of engagements to ensure
successful achievement of customer's and Fujitsu's objectives
• Leader in the execution and application of Fujitsu's
methodologies
ECM Solution Consulting
• Participates in business needs analysis; develops
requirements definitions for technological solutions to the business
needs
• Designs, costs, articulates and sells complete solutions to
customers
• Keeps abreast of third party partnering parameters; includes
or initiates required involvement in the solution
• Ensure that all hardware and software are correctly defined,
the best partners to work with are qualified and selected, and that
all third-party hardware and software components required for the
solution are correctly defined.
• For delivery, to obtain or confirm document the user
requirements in a workshop, and communicates the information to the
development team to implement the user requirements. He / she will
confirm the solution delivery with the customer by leading the
Acceptance Testing.
• Keeps abreast of emerging technologies via professional
publications, seminars and symposiums
• Develops and communicates ROI to customers on alternative
solutions
• Leads solution implementation, involving specialist
technical consultants, resulting in a delivery on time and within
budget
• Builds professional contacts and leads through speaking,
publishing, and participation in professional organisations
• Maintains a continuing relationship with the client at
senior and operational levels
• Mentors others in on-the-job training
Job Specifications (Special Skills/Qualifications) :
* Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Consulting experience in the delivery of business
transformation services or business process improvement services for
Internet-centric solutions required covering people, process and
environment definition is required.
• Consulting experience in the technical definition of
Enterprise Content Management Solutions, with in-depth technology
and solutions knowledge required
• Has prior experience in deploying web-based solutions in
one or more areas such as Documentum, Filenet with a good
understanding of technologies such as Java (JSP, EJB etc.), Security
(Digitial Certificates, Authentication systems etc), Microsoft
Technologies (DNA, ASP, DCOM etc.)
• Practical experience in designing software development
projects required
• Project Management experience in the implementation of
successful Systems Integration Projects required.
• Ability to generate clear and accurate documentation
* Effective planning and communication skills
* Possess a high level of motivation and initiative.
* Able to work independently.
• Able to travel frequently•
