One of my client is looking for Solution Architec With the following
skills. This is a permanent position.
Details are as follows
BASIC FUNCTION: (Explain purpose of the position)
The incumbent will employ his/her consulting experience, in-depth
solution architecture and application development knowledge to sell
and deliver application framework services including application
architecture design service and application framework design service.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with industry vertical sales and solution teams to sell
to targeted accounts with application framework service offerings.
• Lead technical team to assess clients' current application
architecture and define the desired state application architecture
to meet future business needs
• Participate in business consulting engagements as an expert
in Application Framework and Application Architecture
• Design, cost, articulate and sell software development
projects to customers
• Drive functional specification and design detail level
application framework for software development projects
• Keeps abreast of third party partnering parameters; includes
or initiates required involvement in the solution
• Maintains personal credibility and industry knowledge of
current directions and future trends for Application Framework and
Architecture
• Builds professional contacts and leads through speaking,
publishing, and participation in professional organisations
• Mentors and performs on-the-job training
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: (List education, experience and
technical skill requirements)
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Proven delivery experience in Application Framework Design
and Architecture
• Consultative selling skills
• Solution architect or application architect experience in
the implementation of successful Systems Integration Projects
required
• Ability to generate clear and accurate documentation
• Effective planning and communication skills
• Possess a high level of motivation and initiative.
• Able to work independently.
