Position:VB Programmer
Location :Singapore
Duration : 9-12 months
Description of Work
- Provide IT expertise in the
standardization/simplification/reformatting of the PS Finance templates
used for reporting & BPE purposes.
- Develop automation technology e.g. excel links, visual basic
macros to link files & templates . Automate downloading of reports from
SAP & standard cost uploading into SAP . Develop a web-based training
tool to post training doc
Description of business situation and need: Our client is embarking on a
redesign of PS Finance function which includes several opportunities -
structure, roles, template standardization/simplification/automation
etc. We would like to to obtain an IT resource to help particularly on
the template standardization, simplification & automation opportunities.
Task expectations of consultant:
- Create an Excel based tool that will do the below . Develop
automation technology e.g. excel links, visual basic macros to link
files & templates . Automate downloading of reports from SAP & standard
cost uploading into SAP . Develop a web-based training tool to post
training doc Deliverables/Expectations/ measurements for success:
- The programmer, will own- getting first time data into the
system from various functions (we'll help in ensuring this is provided)
and do check runs, to ensure things are running fine.
Technologies Required
Advanced : Visual Basic, Macros,Ms Access ,MSOffice (Word, Excel, PPt)
Basic : Basic SAP Technologies (Basis, Netweaver, mySAP.com, etc)
