[EZLINK] Onsite Technical Support needed

One of my client is looking for Onsite technical support consultant
with the following skills.
ere is the JD for the role:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handle and manage all calls escalate by the helpdesk. This is
usually
involved the diagnosis of complex user problem.
Perform swapping of machines if spares are provided while waiting
for
the service vendor's arrival.
Perform evaluation and test of new desktop hardware and software,
and
advise End Users on desktop upgrade requirements on a best effort
basis
Log/update all calls through the Helpdesk or using the Web access
to the
Problem Logging Tool. This should be provided in a prompt and
accurate
manner.
Understand the customer's systems and applications
Simulate failures for analysis of actual failing device
REQUIREMENTS:
Able to speak clear and fluent conversational English;
Good interpersonal skills
Good customer servicing skills
Relevant technical IT Skills
has an understanding of PC hardware configuration
ability to trouble shoot hardware/firmware failure
has a good understanding of PC usage
has an understanding of PC usage in a LAN environment
ability to customize PC operating system such as
Microsoft
Windows 2K/XP
ability to assist user in installing Microsoft Windows
2K/XP
ability to install application in Microsoft Windows 2K/XP
environment
ability to handling simple network problem determination
Able to co-ordinate activities with the relevant parties
(TA,
vendors and more importantly customer) and is systematic
Willing to learn and adapt to the changing IT environment
ADVANTAGE
Experienced in a vendor environment with frontend interaction with
customers;
Experienced in other OS related topics eg. DHCP, DNS, Proxy etc;
Experienced in Messaging client (Lotus Notes preferably)
