[EZLINK] Functions/Prayers at Sri Mariamman Temple Tomorrow 30th Night
Dear Friends,
This coming Saturday, on the 30th night, at 12am there are some functions at Sri Mariamman Temple in Singapore.
For those who like to carry milk pots or paal kudam on their heads. Only $15.
Secondly, all ladies can do the kumbiduthanam. Not sure of the spelling, bear with me pls. Same price.
Thirdly, guys can sleep and roll. Some prayers for mother goddess.
These prayers are for Mariamman, there are also Kali, Draupati and Durga in these temple. I hope all our indian expats would come and join and see the occasion.
The goddesses honoured here are the mother-goddess Devi and the rain goddess, Mariamman. Its doors are bedecked with bells, frescoes adorn the ceiling, a profusion of deities is carved all over its walls and there is a ethereal gallery of paintings and shrines honouring the two goddesses.
