Srini, I agree with you. What I am trying to say is if driving a car by
following the rules is right, similarly, as long as someone is smoking in
the designated spots, not smoking in public area, one should not be
punished. Because it is right. If someone were to spoil his health by smokin
a chain of cigars, that is a different story and we have the rehabilitation
houses.
It is only that when someone breaks this rule, should the government punish.
So banning smoking in all places or punishing someone just bcoz he smokes is
quite inappropriate. You could probably say smokers should act with some
'Common Sense'
