Role : Senior Developer (Perl, Unix, Oracle/BO)
Responsibilities:
The individual is required to:
- Report to Singapore Services Lead on development work
- Perform PERL development activities
- Provide backup to PROD support team
- Provide support services to NY Development team
- Provide status and communication on work carried out for projects to
Singapore Manager
- Work flexible hours in accordance with New York teams and timeframes
Mandatory Skills:
- Experience in designing and developing PERL applications, from
requirements to final delivery
- Solid understanding of PERL syntax and conceptual understanding of
PERL constructs
- Experience and understanding of Object Oriented PERL
- Knowledge of Regular Expressions/Pattern Matching and File
manipulation using both PERL and SHELL
- Good knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and DBI/DBD packages
- Experience with WEB technologies, HTTP and SOAP technologies
- Candidate must have a 8+ years working experience in software
development with experience in all stages of the SDLC or CMM
- Experience in Ctrl-M or other scheduling tools (Cron)
- Experience with Version Control products (Clear Case)
- Experience in installing and integrating CPAN and other Open Source
Modules
- Experience in JAVA/XML technologies.
