[EZLINK] BE Electronics Project - Need Help / Advice urgently

Dear Friends,

My sister is doing her BE Electronics in Anna University, Chennai.
She needs some assitance on her Final Year Project work.

Any advice or help regarding this will be greatly appreciated.

Some queries which I have are:

1. Which Technology / Topic can she do project work on? - Embedded
Systems or Power Electronics or VLSI or any others (She cannot do a
pure Software project. It should be something related to Electronics
and can involve some software coding). If you have any project
ideas, please help me.

2. Could you please give me some contacts in good companies in
cities like Chennai / Bangalore / Hyderabad; so that she can
approach those companies requesting for project work? I believe that
if she can do her project work with some reputed companies, she can
look forward for a bright future.

3. What would be the cost involved in getting this project done?

She has taken good amount of initiative in approaching some project
centers in Chennai. However, she is not confident about the company.
She is not interested in buying a project but she is looking forward
for an oppurtunity to explore and learn inorder to acheive a good

Hi All,

unreasonable agent fee and ever rising rentals have been concern to me.
I have been using this formulla effectively to balance my interests with that of agents.

I fix the rental in advance. If agent negotiates a rent which is favorble to me he gets a premium, if I have to pay more than decided rent he gets a lesser commission.

I have used this successfully in past .

Nice work. Can you post the eMail id or how you able to send the
article. I would Like to request the group memebers that please
write back to the newspaper with more feed back, which may force
them to interview some guys.

Promote editorial copies and give to all the guys/gals in your
circle. I did started and sent to my employer even, so they will
know that if they don't care. They will loose business.

You can send back home that people from your circle should not come
here on low salaries or send to the newspaper in India.

Remember: We have no problem with anything as long as employer will
subsidise the rent but principally it is wrong to create the
subsidised environment, which will burden for poor local singaporean.

This is really good and inspiring. I read the news article you gave
and thats what exactly happened when i planned to move. My owner
asked me to exit before the contract(of course paid the
compensation), when i started searching for the new home for rent, i
saw atleast 3-4 people in queue and agents hurrying me for
finalizing on the spot with exorbitant rents. I saw this for 4
visits. I thought its real demand, but seems like artificial hype
created by agents. Hope something good happens both for tenant and
owners.

There is a good deal from Indian Airlines for that duration, i suppose
u can get a return tkt for SGD$740.
Another thing is regd. uncertainity for Air Shara flights. I have
experienced & even heard from people that whether the flights takes
of or not is not sure.

Hi All,

How to disable a STOLEN mobile phone?

To check your Mobile phone's serial number, key in the
following digits on your phone:

*#06#

A 15 digit code will appear on the screen.This number
is unique to your handset. Write it down and keep it
somewhere safe.

Should your phone get stolen, you can phone your
service provider and give them this code.

They will then be able to block your handset, so even
if the thief changes the SIM card your phone will be
totally useless.

You probably won't get your phone back, but at least
you know that whoever stole it can't use/sell it
either.

If everybody does this, there would be no point in
people stealing mobile phones.

As per law, it is illegal and this matter is covered under deffinition of "nuisance". and you record when they play music and report this matter to police with recorded instrument(u can use MP3). They may be arrested and it is punishable for upto 3 month jail or fine or both.
