My honest feedback is, Genting is much better than Cameron. Cameron

Hope this will do a little help.

Child development had always been one of my interest. We tried
something like the following and it was successful but it did not
continue since we did not have a forum like this.

- look for similar aged children - both boys and girls
- select the place nearby to all - playgrounds are best suitable
- design an activity - this is the most important part- suitable for
the age - colouring, hide and seek, ball. do not try to put in all
the activities in the same time.
- get enough agreements on the timing
- meet and let the children play.
this way our children can make more new friends and they all have a
protected environment to play. Certainly there will be elder than
the designed boys and you can organise other things like mind games
if suitable.

you can try this. it is enjoyable.

Hi Raman,

We had some issue with the three burner sometime ago. I thought the
following might help you.

Basically it is not difficult to correct this kind of errors.

- Locate the gas valve and turn it off. If it is a gas cylinder it
is easier. If it is a pipe line it should be below the gas stove.
- Let the burners cool off ;-| you can take the burners away. Easy
to lift. Be careful to keep the sets together.
- take off the vessel stands if not done earlier

- take off the gas knobs. usually these are the slide in types. It
might be difficult. Use moderate force. Careful not to bend. There
should be no need to twist.
- After taking off the burners, burner knobs, the top plate must be
easy to lift now.
- Lift off the top plate
- You can see a large bay with pipe connections. usually this
portion is with food spills. You can clean this. But there could be
the electrical connections for the spark. You can clean all the
parts in this with a wet soaped cloth. You can use a old tooth brush
too to clean.
- Usually there is a pressure release gap part in the path to the
burner. Remember to clean this portion. You can use a blower or
blow keeping some distance, with your mouth in to the pipes, to take
the particles away. You can also blow to dry the parts in there.
- clean the burners with a needle and tooth brush after soaking in
the dish washing liquid. You can use a wire brush too . available in
hardware shops.

- You can then start assembling back everything and enjoy your new
stove.exclamation mark here. Sorry my number keys and symbols on
them are not working.
- this will take a good afternoon and alot of scolding from the
spouse. But it worths the satisfaction at the end.

For Singapore PR, they should have their Indian driving license issue date as before coming to singapore. If it is after date then it will be a concern and may not be able to convert, One thing am very sure that if you have your indian driving license issued after your PR issued date, It is not possible to convert. it will be as usual you need to go for entire driving licen process like local people.

The BTT will cost S$6 and is fairly easy as long as you pick up a
BTT learning book in any bookshop and do some studying.

Please bring along your passport and employment pass/dependants pass
when you go in for the test (details on the SSDC website.

Once you have passed the test you can convert your licence. Please
note that, unlike some other countries, you do not get the results
of your test straight away. You will have to wait for the results to
come in by mail, which may take up to two weeks. Also note that you
may have to wait a few weeks before you can take the BBT so please
plan your conversion well before the six-month grace period expires.

Converting your licence

If you have passed the BTT, you can convert your licence at the
Singapore Traffic Police Headquarters:

weeks of submitting the application.

Agreed that online grocery shopping is the need of the hour. Though Mustafa Centre is doing a great job by displaying a big armamentarium but shopping is becoming unpleasant day by day, the mall is crowded even on weekdays and there is no space for trolley movement.
I propose that this forum may raise issues with Mustafa management to make it more customer friendly, more suitable for local expatriates. We can also request SBS to stop their buses opposite Serangoon plaza, I am sure all will agree that its too long a walk to Broadway to catch a bus which also is quite far from Farrer park station

This is by far the cheapest flight to Bangalore. Less than S$ 200 one way ( I even got a ticket at S$ 130 /- )

But its late at night. Luggage ( 20 kg check-in ) plus 7 kg carry - they can be a bit strick.

You have to buy meals on the flight but its quite cheap - anyway at 3 in the night nobody is hungry....
