[EZLINK] Scope of MATLAB computing language

My wife has recently completed her M.Tech in Computer Science and done her project in MATLAB. I will be thankful of you if you let me know
1. How are the opportunities for this software computing language in Singapore IT industry?
2. What should be other software platforms which she should learn with MATLAB for better future prospects?
