Main Duties /Responsibilities:
Developer and support role for Custom applications. The scope of the role involves working with developers and development database administrators. The main responsibilities will include providing Level 3 (developer) support of custom products, bug fixing, and enhancing the products. The candidate should be able to document the intended approach to resolve a certain problem, or to document the approach taken for closed items. Should be geared towards leveraging the existing framework. Participate in the System Integration Test phase
Technical/ Business Skills & Knowledge:
· Core Java (3 yrs+)
· Unix/Linux skills (3 yrs+)
· Unix scripting (3 yrs+)
· Familiarity with Windows environment (2 yrs+)
· Sybase (2yrs+)
· Hands on coding, debugging and troubleshooting
Desirable:
· Weblogic (1 yr+)
· Some familiarity with C# (1 yr+)
· Experience in application development in Financial Industry
