There are lot of Bangaloreans and also we are VERY VERY MUCH Proud about our
state, you know Bangalore is a IT Capital of India all Bangaloreans will be
busy out here.
Any how to visit Bangalore or any part of Karnataka any time except June to
July is not so good you can visit at December no problem.
To Tell about place you may need whole year if you want to see all good
places any to suit your needs some of the very good places are like Mysore,
Belur, Halebid,Shravanabelagola, Humpi, Joke falls, kuduremuka, kemanagundi
lot more.
you can take a good travels from Bangalore who can drive for your family to
all the places.
Regarding your sarees no idea much but in Mysore or Bangalore there are lot
lot of collection of Silk Sarees.
you can also visit the website http://kstdc.nic.in/
You must visit Belur which is in Hassan District and about 250km from
Bangalore and about 4 hours of travel if you drive where famous and oldest
temple.
It is my Home town and my house is just behind the temple.
