Hi Raja,
Firstly $6,000 wud be decent salary in Singapore.
1. Tax would be around 7 - 10% if you stay in singapore for more than
180 days in a financial year (Jan - Dec), if you stay less than 180 days
but more than 60 days then you have to pay flat 15%.
2. CBD is the heart of the city, you can find many housing areas which
you can reach there by 30 mins, and the rental would be in btw 800-1200
if you stay in HBDs. (Singapore Govt Housing), most of the people stay
there only.
3. All the utilities that you mentioned would be $200 - $300 if I am
not wrong.
4. On an average, a simple family like yours can manage the month by
$2k comfortably.
5. Work load is depending upon the project that you are working, but
generally people say Singapore work load is abit high.
6. Nowadays people are getting PR in an year.
