IDMS Database Administrator
Key Responsibilities:
To involve in Database space expansion, performance monitoring, support and
upgrade database software and related tools.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualification : Degree/Diploma in Computer Studies or equivalent
Technical Skills:
* At least 3 years working experience in IBM Mainframe MVS/ESA
Operating Environment is a must.
* At least 2 years real time experience in IDMS database
administration (eg. Database space expansion, performance monitoring,
support and upgrade database software and related tools, etc) is preferred
* Experience in Relational databases namely DB2, Teradata or
SQL-Server preferred
* Able to perform physical database design changes and
implementation for application system changes.
* Good knowledge of logical database design
* Capable of handling multiple projects at the same time.
* Must be receptive for contracts
Interpersonal:
* Good Communication and written skills in English
* Willingness to work after office hours or on Sundays
EMPLOYMENT
Type : Contract (2 years) Full Time
Location : Singapore
Commencement : 1 Dec 2006
