[EZLINK] Help needed for Compaq Presario 1728 AP
Dear All,
Wanted to check if any one who has the above PC can help me provide
the copy of the MBR (master boot record - 1st sector from the
harddisk) from your PC's harddisk.
I have a same model PC whose MBR is overwritten by the WinXP recovery
process. Due to this I am not able to boot into the recovery partition.
My PC had some problem in creating the recovery disks, for which HP
tells me that I have to pay to get a new set from them. They cannot
help me in giving a copy of the MBR.
Please let me know if you have the above PC model and willing to help
me. I shall send the utilities and step of commands to extract the MBR.
