Number of positions: 1
Location: Singapore
Coverage: APAC region excluding Japan
Compensation: Annual total package of 85K - 120K on a 90:10
split
Travel: 0 - 10%
Position Brief:
The Senior Financial Analyst will be required to prepare the forecasting
and budgeting reports such as the weekly revenue forecasts and pipeline
reviews and be involved with the projection, planning and budgeting for
various business groups.
He will be involved with revenue reconciliation and consolidation and
use this as a tool to help in the revenue planning. As such, he is
expected to be able to provide financial trends and business performance
analysis at a micro level for each territory in Asia Pacific and for the
overall analysis at the Asia Pacific level. He will also be expected to
provide analysis of pricing issues and discount levels, including
Average Sales Price and Gross Margin analysis. He will be working
closely with the country managers and regional sales managers as he will
be the bridge between the in-countries in the APAC region and the US .
The senior financial analyst will be responsible for the revenue
reporting and management for the monthly and quarterly close including
ageing reporting and the finalization of point-of-sale (POS) reports.
Statutory filing will also be involved.
He will ensure proper revenue recognition for products and services,
including resolution of issues and tracking of sales performance. He
will also ensure the accuracy of the data in the CRM system,
SalesForce.com, for commission and financial metric analysis.
He will also be involved with ad-hoc projects in US GAAP and FRS.
What we are looking for is a Senior Financial Analyst with solid
accounting, planning, forecasting and budgeting experience.
He needs to be able to coordinate and communicate effectively with
senior management in Asia Pacific as well as the US office.
Must Have (No Exceptions):
* Full-time degree in either Accountancy or Finance
* Must be able to Speaks Mandarin
Nice to have:
* Some experience with revenue consolidation and reconciliation.
* CPA or CMA certified
* Experience working in an established accounting firm or technology
company.
* Familiar with GAAP and FRS
* An Excel guru
* Any regional exposure
