Document
1. Get General power of attorney letter from India with all blank
fields. (They will send you pre-defined general power document)
2. You need to fill your name, your address, father name, father
address and DONT SIGN.
3. After complete above fields, photocopy it
Support documents
1. Your passport
2. Photocopy of passport first page (sometime they asked it)
3. Two passport size photos (one for sticker form, one for your POA
paper)
4. Process fee $40-60
5. Process time (1-2 working days)
At embassy,
1. Go to Indian embassy 9am - 11 am, mon-fri and take a token from
'Other service' token printer
2. Get a sticker form (half size of A4 sheet) either from reception or
forms holder & paste your photo and complete it.
3. Wait for your turn and you need to sign document (both original and
photocopy) in-front of the officer.
4. Get receipt with collection date, mostly next day evening 4-5pm
