Sr. Technical Support Engineer
To provide technical support to customers across the Asia
Pacific region through phone, email and onsite meeting.
Managing key accounts, being a single point of contact
for those customers whenever they have technical enquires.
To provide pre-sales technical support to SEs and Sales.To work
with R&D to track and resolve product bugs.
To create and maintain product knowledge base. Mentoring the
other technical support engineers.
Provide after hours support via phone or pager as assigned by
the management.
Pre-requisites:
Minimum 4 years experience in software development in J2EE
and/or CORBA.
Preferably worked in a similar position of customer service and
technical troubleshooting for 3+ years in a senior capacity.
Intermediate level of understanding with the Application
Lifecycle covering Analysis, Design, Deployment, Management and
Collaboration. Broad knowledge of software industry is a desired.
Intermediate level of understanding with both Unix and Windows
platforms.
Advanced level of understanding with the following technologies:
J2EE and/or CORBA.
Experience with commercial J2EE Application Server and CORBA
technologies like: DII (Dynamic Invocation Interface), DSI (Dynamic
Skeleton Invocation), Naming Service, POA & Interceptors, interface
Repositories would be an added advantage.
