To share a few info. Recently i had my relatives travelling on Air India Express. Would like to share thier opinion.
1. seating is quite good wen compared to Indian Airlines.
2. no food would be provided. you have to pay for everthing.
3. only 20 kgs are allowed wen you are travelling from chennai to singapore. extra 7 kgs for hand luggage.
4. Flight schedule changes from time to time depending on the weather. our flight was delayed 6 hrs due to heavy rains in chennai.
have a good trip.

Earlier you book the tickets, lower the price. No special services available.
Allowed baggage is 30 kgs and hand luggage is strict 7 kgs.
The prices starting from 237 SGD for one way. Every hour the prices are changing based on the no.of tickets booked.
They are providing e-tickets, you can buy online @ www.airindiaexpress .in , pay by credit card.
The website is excellent and all are my personal experience.
