Re: [EZLINK] asp.net doubt

Hi Priya,

Just by changing the extension to .aspx, the code behind page doesnt automatically generate. The code behind page will be generated only when you create your .aspx page using VS.NET studio. You have to choose the new web form and then it generates a code behind page along with the .aspx. Hope you understood. But in your case, you may need to create a separate code behind page and attach it to the .aspx page that is designed. The easiest way that I can suggest keeping in view the a you are a beginner is, use vs.net and create your project first. Then include your pre-designed .aspx page to your project. Once done open the .aspx page and then place a web control from the tool box on to your page. Double click it, then this will auto generate a code behind for you to continue with your futher coding.

But before doing all this, I sincerely suggest you to study and get familiar with ASP.NET and its architecture which will make your life easier in coding later.

also i get like this error some time

Invalid postback or callback argument. Event validation is enabled using <pages enableEventValidation="true"/> in configuration or <%@ Page EnableEventValidation="true" %> in a page. For security purposes, this feature verifies that arguments to postback or callback events originate from the server control that originally rendered them. If the data is valid and expected, use the ClientScriptManager.RegisterForEventValidation method in order to register the postback or callback data for validation.

pls reply immediatley
