If u want wireless internet at your home your computer should have wireless adapter.otherwise if the service provider gave this type connection u will not get any benefit.
Now Singtel is giveing free wireless surf in Singapore. Go to the website and check in your location its available or not .
For personal use we never need broadband or cable internet facility.the speed also depends on the server.
So it is advicable to buy small pakages.it will cost less than 20 doller per month and no contracts
