RE: [EZLINK] help needed in getting birth certificate
Amar
First your passport and Xth certificate should be enough while submitting your date of birth certificate, however if you can get a birth certificate in Hindi, just get it translated into English and get it attested from Indian NOTARY alongwith one affidavit stating why you need the trnaslation to be done in English, and then you can submit all the three documents (copy of b'certificate, Translation and Affidavit) together. I hope it will help.

Subject: [EZLINK] help needed in getting birth certificate
Hi,
I have been asked to produce my birth certificate here for some
purposes. I don't have a birth certificate and have never had one.
In India, I got my passport done based on date of birth in my X
certificate.
Has someone else faced this problem?
I can get some certificate from the municipality but that will be in
Hindi.
Shall I approach the Indian High Commission here?
Thanks and regards,
Amar "Kingston" Gurung
