a leading invenstment bank in Singapore.
Role : Developer / Support

*Requirements:*
Candidate must have a minimum of 8 years IT development experience *(or a
combination of support/development experience amounting to 5 years or more)
*Minimum of 5 years of experience in the banking and finance industry.
*Other Requirement*:
Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
Ability to contribute effectively during design sessions
Innovative thinker - must generate new ideas and novel solutions to a
problem
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Experience in working with global teams on global projects
Ensures commitments are met and sets appropriate expectations
Ability to identify opportunities and develop new ideas that will lead to
improvements. Display the ability to adapt or change to better achieve the
targets and objectives.
*Techincal Skill Set:*
Expert in Sun Solaris Unix, Shell Scripting, Oracle 9i (PL/SQL Developer,
SQL Loader). Ability to write complex s*tored procedures and SQL queries*.
Experience in handling huge volume of data is a must along with expertise in
oracle performance tuning.
Strong Web development skills using Microsoft ASP
*Solid working experience on VB and ADO*
