[EZLINK] Looking for AS400 Developer Position
Hi,
We are looking for
AS400 System Programmer / Senior System Programmer
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Plan, install, and maintain systems software to ensure an
efficient data processing environment.
· Interface with outside vendors to co-ordinate software problem
resolution.
· Participate in the selection, analysis, and modification of vendor
supplied systems software, and adapt new systems to the operating
environment.
· Perform system performance monitoring and tuning; participate in
capacity planning and systems configuration.
· Provide technical support to both systems development and data
center operations personnel.
· In conjunction with data processing operations and audit
guidelines, develop procedures and standards for operations
personnel.
· May act as project manager for systems projects, coordinating team
activities, with systems development and data center operations
personnel.
· May assist in evaluating, recommending, acquiring, and installing
new hardware or hardware upgrades.
· Coordinate project plans and activities with user and technology
management.
· Keep current on hardware and software developments.
All the above-mentioned responsibility is referring to IBM AS400
platform running OS/400, it is definitely value added if the
candidate is familiar with the following 3rd party software:
PentaSafe
Patrol
NDM and XCOM
Powerlog
Aldon
Robot
Pre-requisites:
Minimum 3 years experiences in IBM AS400 environment, knowledge in
AS400 OEM software is added advantage.
