an IT Infrastructure Project Manager
Title : IT Infrastructure Project Manager
Division : Shared Services
Department : Technical Infrastructure Services (TIS)
Location : Based in Singapore
Reports to : IT Infrastructure Programme Manager
Principal Responsibilities: To manage infrastructure projects within
the APAC region.
To be responsible for
* Cost management and Tender processes
* Planning and adhereing to schedules
* Ensuring Quality Assurance is performed
* Management Reporting
* Risk monitoring
* Issue resolution
* Co-ordination of the IT departments involved in the project
* Resource management
* Vendor Management
* Project Office functions
Co-ordination of the documentation of all implementations and services.
To assist in ad-hoc project work within TIS, to improve the various
policies, processes and methodologies used by the team.
To deputise for the Programme Manager when required.
Knowledge and Experience Required: A seasoned IT professional
experienced in the planning and implementation of a wide array of
infrastructure projects, particularly office builds or refurbishments
and Data Centre builds.
Additionally, the following specific knowledge would be advantageous:
* Project Management Office functions and processes
* Server virtualisation, consolidation or migration
* Project planning for systems and application software, PCs,
PBXs, distributed platforms and networks
* Budgets, proposal justification and cost analysis
* Competent use of presentation and project management software
* Knowledge of investment banking IT concepts
* Experience of working on projects based in India.
Person Profile: Well developed communication and presentation skills,
both oral and written.
Sound judgement and integrity.
The ability to take full responsibility for specific projects.
Good self-motivation, with the ability to work independently whilst
requesting assistance where necessary.
The ability to work to tight deadlines.
