Income Tax rates for 2006 are as follows:
1st chargeable income S$10,000 - no tax
10,000 - 30,000 - 3.75%
30,000 - 40,000 - 5.75%
40,000 - 80,000 - 8.75%
80,000 -160,000 - 14.5%
160,000-320,000 - 18.0%
above 320,000 - 21.0%
Gross annual income less personal reliefs and CPF
contributions is chargeable income.
